Energy audits can be performed on a Domestic and a Commercial property.

 

Energy audits will include: 

• Walk-through assessments: A quick review of a building's energy use and performance 

• Detailed analysis: A comprehensive assessment of a building's energy performance 

• Equipment use: The use of equipment like wall endoscope, infrared cameras, and moisture meters to analyse energy use.

• Benchmarking: Comparing a building's energy performance to similar buildings or processes in nearby area.

• Action plans: Prioritizing opportunities for energy savings and creating a plan for implementation 

 

A home energy assessment, also known as a home energy audit, is an evaluation of a home's energy usage and efficiency. The goal is to identify areas where energy is being wasted and to recommend ways to improve energy efficiency. 

A home energy assessment can help you: Save money on energy bills, improve indoor air quality, reduce your carbon footprint, and understand how to make your home more comfortable. 

 

Energy audit has three different level:

• Level I: Walk-through assessment

• Level II: Energy survey and analysis

• Level III: Detailed analysis 

 

Energy audit often a basic requirement to apply government funding like ECO4.

The ECO4 scheme will run until 31 March 2026. ECO4 focusses on improving the least energy efficient homes and households in fuel poverty, as only properties in bands D-G can be treated.
